  • Alphabet Soup- What do all these letters mean anyway?

    The first in the series of LGBTQ+ related trainings offered. In this training, participants will be able to identify the difference between the L, G, B, T, Q letters on the acronym, gain a better understanding of LGBTQ+ identities and experiences, and to understand the difference between gender and sexuality. The training will encourage participants expand current LGBTQ+ vocabulary in order to foster a more inclusive work environment. The training will be presented through slideshow format as well as interactive educational tools in an intimate setting of no more than 25 people.

  • Leveling Up LGBTQ+

    The second in the series of LGBTQ+ related trainings offered, this course will delve deeper into the letters identified in the first “Alphabet Soup” training. This training is geared to participants interested in becoming an ally and advocate and will enable them to facilitate LGBTQ+ liaison networks. Participants will be able to define the role of a LGBTQ+ liaison, create a step-by-step guide to inclusion advocacy, identify internal and external stakeholders, and develop networking opportunities on a local, state, and national level.

  • Diversity and Inclusion Solutions for the Workplace

    In this training, participants will be able to identify challenges surrounding diversity and inclusion within the workplace for colleagues, associates, and the public falling within the parameters of marginalized groups. Participants will also be able to identify opportunities to improve the workplace environment by increasing diversity and inclusion initiatives ranging from simple and inexpensive solutions to more time consuming and labor-intensive initiatives. The training will be presented through slideshow format focusing on definitions, examples, and real-life scenarios as well as open classroom dialogue.

  • Diversity in Leadership

    The answer isn’t “Live your life/be who you want to be with/pee wherever you want to pee, it doesn’t matter to me” it is “How can I, as a leader, help make the work environment more inclusive?” A half day workshop designed to assist personnel in management and leadership roles assist their organization by identifying the impacts and benefits of a diverse and inclusive workforce, learning tools to counter unconscious bias, and developing action plans addressing solutions on a micro and macro level.
