Step by step we get closer to our goal!

Today I was happy to be a part of the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Summit. It was so awesome to be in a room with so many prominent business professionals and city leaders all actively discussing ways to improve employee relations as well as community impact thru DEI. The panel consisted of subject matter experts across the field and it was so empowering to hear from Dr. Simone Dienna Arnold of fiserv, Brandon Wolf of Equality Florida, Sgt. Barb Hendrickx of Coconut Creek Police Department, and Rabbi Yossie Denburg of Chabad of Coral Springs. The panel speakers were eloquent and well-spoken, the biggest kudos however, goes to the packed room of participants all taking time out of their very busy morning to actively seek change regarding DEI within their businesses. I hope the other Chamber’s throughout South Florida follow suit and host their own DEI summits. Step by step we get closer to our goal of full diversity, equity, and inclusion within our community.
